York College Receives Email Bomb Threat, Evacuates Campus

Around 1 PM, York College officials received a threatening email warning about a bomb in their Academic Core Building. Police rushed to evacuate students as a safety precaution. Classes were shifted online for the rest of the day.

Queens College Also Evacuates After Credible Bomb Threat

Around the same time, Queens College also received a bomb threat via email. While details are still emerging, a college representative confirmed the threat was credible. As a precaution, all campus buildings were closed and students were asked to exit calmly. Queens College also moved classes online starting at 2:30 PM.
